Awards

Awards for Students

Prizes will be awarded to the authors of the top three poster presentations in each of the following categories: undergraduate student, master's student and doctoral student.

Evaluation will be conducted by a committee during the poster presentation sessions, considering the following criteria: scientific merit, originality, quality of results, conclusions, visual quality of the poster, and oral presentation.

The awards will be presented during the closing ceremony of the event. Winners will receive a certificate, a prize, and their names and photographs will be published on ABPol channels.

During the 18th Brazilian Congress on Polymers (CBPol), ABPol is honored to recognize and highlight outstanding contributions to science, technology, and innovation in polymers in Brazil. Three awards will be presented:



ABPol Young Researcher Award

Aimed at encouraging new talents, this award recognizes young researchers who stand out for their significant scientific contributions in the field of polymers, fostering the advancement of research and the development of future academic and technological leaders.

ABPol Prof. Eloisa Mano Award

In tribute to Prof. Eloisa Mano, a pioneer of polymer science in Brazil, this award honors researchers who, throughout their careers, have made remarkable contributions to the scientific and academic development of the field, leaving a legacy of excellence and inspiration.

Awardee: Prof. Sebastião Vicente Canevarolo Júnior (UFSCar – SP)

ABPol Technology Award

Focused on innovation and the practical application of knowledge, this award recognizes professionals who have developed relevant technological solutions for the polymer sector, strengthening the integration between science, industry, and society.
